is this thing on?
So here it is, my first rant on Tumblr. As I sat on my Pro Flex bike today in the nice hot summer heat with sweat dripping off my big fat nose I thought it was time to join the blogging community and let my teammates read the bullshit that’s been swimming around my noggin the last 4 or so months. I also thought it might be a good idea to have this crap on record so I can get a good laugh years from now. I might warn you that this probably won’t be your typical “I ran 100 miles today and feel like superman” blog. It will be a mish mash of all kinds of crap.
Onward………
There is no way in hell I can continue to sit around and decipher any longer about what’s going on physically with my body. It’s time to try and get back into shape one way or another. Either this will work and I’ll be back knocking elbows with my team OR I’ll be pulling weeds at my house wonder what the hell happened. Either way I have to try something different.
Briefly, 2 weeks ago I had a bunch of MRI’s done and one came back with either stress fractures or stress reactions in both side of my hips. No idea how this is even possible since I haven’t run a step in months. My plan going forward is to try and do something each day whether I bike, swim, or even run. Most of the pain is at night while I try and sleep so I just won’t sleep.
35 minutes on the bike connected to my cyclops. outside in the heat….
so f***ing great.
