Who’s the ugly guy in Navy?
So as I suspected, New Bedford went pretty much how I thought it might. My lack of fitness showed late in the race, pretty much at about mile 9 I started to struggle. I had some opportunities to run with a decent pack going into mile 5 and 6 but I just couldn’t convince my body to hang on. It seemed as though the group I was running with was going quicker than I thought I could hold for the next 7 miles. There were some encouraging signs early on in the race but I really haven’t done much this week to capitalize, although I “recovered” pretty quickly. Does anybody want to train after 5 o’clock during the week?
